Our probes
Arenal offers a variety of probes to measure KOH concentrations online:
- For high concentrations KOH, our torroidal (electrodeless) sensor is suitable for the full range 0-40 wt% when the temperature of the liquid is within certain limits. As a standard we offer PEEK torroidal probes. Interested? Fill in the questionnaire.
- For low concentrations, our contacting conductivity sensor is suitable for the range 0-2wt%. As a standard we offer PEEK/SS316 4 pole contacting probes. Interested? Fill in the questionnaire.
- If highest accuracy is required on the full range, the ultrasonic spectroscopy sensor is the best choice. The acoustic graphs for density and speed of sound gives a continuous increasing signal between 0-50 wt%, but flattens out in the last part. This makes the sensor ideal for use in a broad range and for determining its concentrations on 4 digits over the full range. The materials used are PEEK, SS316 and zirconiumoxide (ZrO2).
